RP Note
My character is not a flirtatious sex toy, an anime character, a ditz, or Japanese, nor does she know any type of martial arts. She's somewhat feral and eats people.
Description
Like any tavaki, there is only fur (black) on her forearms to her pawish- hands, her feline-like ears, and on her body from the waist on down to her large hind paws and long thin and non-prehensile tail. Imagine a satyr only more feline than goat. Her claws are black and large, like a lion's. Her hind paws look more animal than humanoid, and allow her to crawl on all fours, and enable her to walk on two or run on four later. The hind claws are not retractable, while the claws of her pawish hands are. There are several cut scars over her skin, some whip lashes on her back, and a facial tattoo scarring spreading over her nose and underneath her eyes. The left eye is fake, and pure black.
History
Keiko was born the second child of Reis <no surname> [old sn: i2eis]. Father is unknown to most [Zinoth, old sn: Zelghadis9]. Keiko is the sister of Kiyoshi [ Kiyoshi Ru], Reis's firstborn. Reis died in a battle against a cloud dragon by the name of Rain [old sn: Vx RainDragon xV], a tyrant who ruled a guild known as Cirulon Nation of Dragons (CnoD). Reis had been pregnant for some time, something only her friend Tie and the dragon Rain knew. Part of the terms of the match was that the unborn child would be unborn, and in the case of the woman's loss, that the child be saved. Reis lost her life in the match, and as promised, the dragon removed the infant prematurely.
A small and sickly child, she was given the name Keiko and passed from person to person in the kingdom. She stayed for a while in her late mother's cottage with her brother, his friend Marilynna [sn: Marilynna Luc], and Mari's father Luc [old sn: TwilightxShadows]. Unable to take care of all three of the children, however, Keiko was handed over to Catlin "Angel" Debrune, who took care of her for a while. Again, the child found herself being handed from person to person. The guild of KKnD became her family, Revenland Forest her home, and Kingdom her playground.
Soon the leader of KKnD, B.A. Slicks [old sn: BA Slicks], became a role-model for the child, while Tielar Slicks [sn: ThymeWalker] became the mother she never knew. When before she had slept in a dwarf camp, now she could sleep in a real bed, between the two, and get to hog the covers, much to their discomfort. It was in their palace that little Keiko became prey and victim to a most horrible things: bi-weekly baths and clean clothes, courtesy of Tie.

Bored with civilization, Kiyoshi disappeared into the wild for a while, living on his own while Keiko was taught a limited education, the usual: reading, spelling, stealing, and conning others into giving her gold and food for her guild. B.A. and Tie adopted Keiko. The couple had two other children, Corvin and Allie Slicks, but Corvin [sn: CorvinSlicks] was studying abroad, and Allie [sn: FatesWaIker] was too young to play many games with.
Luckily Keiko did find a new friend and playmate, a little elven boy around her age named Jake Preston [old sn: FudgeAntics]. However, he was in Bad to the Bones (BttB), an enemy guild to KKnD. The elf was also the nephew of the dreaded Lord Demetrius Midnight, Commander of BttB. He despised both children, making threats of turning Keiko into soup every chance he got, but kept his nephew about as his sister had made him promise before her death.
Some time later, Keiko was accidentally abducted from the Kingdom in an attempt to save Jake. His uncle was involved in the mass migration from the kingdom to a new land, and was forcing him to come along. Kiyoshi followed Keiko to the docks that day, and when Keiko failed to save Jake, both were trapped on one of the ships and taken to a land dubbed Lyrunedale by the settlers.
She and her brother wandered Lyrunedale for weeks, until they came upon a vast desert. Since tavakies are resistant to warm temperatures, and prefer them over colder climates, they wandered further into the desert and established their home there. Though they had an oasis nearby for a water source, food, and land, Keiko was miserable. For once in her life, she had a real family, and then it was gone. Her second little home here soon became the home of the Desert Warriors, a tavaki clan founded by her brother and herself. Some time later, Jake ran away from home to join their tribe.
None of this, however, stopped Keiko from making attempt after futile attempt of reaching her parents. It soon became a hobby, scheming of different things she could do, from messages in a bottle to flinging messages in bottles from other guild's catapaults. For a time, she gave up and became sulky, until at the age of eleven she learned of a way to actually return home. Using some of the gold she had stolen from others, she bought a ring from Drake Wolfe that would enable her to teleport between the realms of Revenland and Lyrunedale.
Returning to Revenland, she was reunited with her parents. Having grown fond of the desert, she couldn't leave her home, so she would travel between the two, spending some nights in Revenland Forest, some in the Lyrunedale Desert, and some with her half-sister Marilynna in the lands of AoRG (with the use of another enchanted ring).
Things seemed to be perfect for the child, until Tie left for a long time. The child was never sure why she left, and had assumed it was from a dispute Tie had with B.A. Then when Keiko was trying to move on, to her delight Tie returned, so that they could be a family again. However, it wasn't but a few days later that B.A. was killed by one of the starved and beaten lions in his own arena. The family was grief-stricken with the loss. His body was burned in a pyre in the forest he loved so.
Over the years Keiko watched over the guild of KKnD and fought for it. She earned such titles as the "Orc Slayer of KKnD" and "Lady Knight of Dramidon" for helping in a war. As time went on, she watched different people take command of KKnD. When she felt ready, soon after the departure of a KKnD commander, she took the opportuity to seize the helm. Many had felt it was only due time before the tavaki would assume command of the guild, and that time had come. Others were weary of the tavaki leading the guild, due to her young age.
It was some time after that Keiko had a falling out with her aunt. While she had always considered the loup-garou as being as close to blood as one could get, the woman began to grow estranged after returning from a trip to her homeland. Attempts by Keiko and other KKnD members to help the woman became misinterpreted as acts of hostility.
In an interesting turn of events, the Queen disowned the KKnD commander as her niece, even managing to turn her own adoptive mother against her. To add salt to injury, the Queen sent her minions out to try and destroy KKnD's forest. Although the attempt failed, the Queen continued to plot against the guild. A few members in KKnD, displeased of the idea of having a young teenage girl for a leader, defected and became the Queen's spies, while spies employed by KKnD infiltrated the Queen's own staff.
The tavaki put forth her efforts toward revealing the Queen's true intentions. Those who disbelieved her for her less than reputable past, or who had been friends of the Queen but knew not of her current state, took up sides with the Queen, while others who had seen firsthand the garou's latest actions and decisions took up sides with the KKnD commander. The god of the realm became angered with the madness that had consumed his land, and cast out the tavaki into exile.
With no family or ties to the old land, Keiko took up residence in the forests of Lyrunedale with a few of her loyal members and friends. The Queen, meanwhile, retired her crown and fled the land before the god could strike again.
At least a year passed. In that time she had taken refuge in the forests of another land. Visits from friends had grown less and less, until she was alone. A beast she had been born, afterward tamed by civilization, and then, with society left far behind, a beast she had become again.
She had not minded that there was no one to talk to; the common tongue had never been her true language. Built for the growls and varied pitches of her species' language, words in the common tongue had been hard, at times nearly painful, to speak. That, and her limited intelligence, had never made her completely fluent.
She preyed on animals and travelers alike, without discrimination. She littered their skulls and bones as a warning to others outside the small hut she had built. It was just big enough to sleep in when the nights got cold.
She received occasional visits from the reptilian cleric, Brennos [sn: RemoteEntity], who was the only remaining link to her old life. He had once been her enemy, but it seemed so long ago. The ending of the war in Loc Navari and Thade had settled their dispute of allegiances. Since then she could only remember them as being comrades.
Time had changed that in her eyes. Having left the common tongue behind in favor of animal instincts, she had grown feral and more true to her inner being. The cleric's visits only served to make her more paranoid, as he was accompanied by troops almost every time.
Then came one day when the cleric came, bringing promises of a new life. The tavaki scoffed and refused. There was never really a choice, however. Spirited away from the forest, she was taken to a camp in the badlands. With brute tactics enforced, Keiko began a type of rehabilitation in order to be re-civilized and reintroduced into society.
A month later, lead in tow by the cleric, she was deposited into the forests of Revenland, where she was reunited with her old friends.
